Dr. Sheryl Lewin will be presenting on Porous Implant Ear Reconstruction on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Newport Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky in the Newport Entertainment District, within ½ mile from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. After the presentation, there will a Question & Answer Session with Dr. Lewin and post-op families, followed by Individual Patient Appointments.
Patients may have the ability to get their ear 3D scanned if age and anatomy appropriate.

Registration Fee
The Registration Fee is $50 per family and includes the following:
- Presentation on PIER surgery, Question & Answer Session, Patient Panel (1 hour)
- Individual Patient Appointment with Dr. Sheryl Lewin with 3D scan if age, anatomy appropriate (13-15 minutes)
- Microtia Meet & Greet T-Shirt The event will take place at the Newport Aquarium. Aquarium tickets are not required to attend the event, but may be a fun activity to do while waiting for your Individual Patient Appointment. Discounted aquarium tickets are available for purchase through our group.

We have a no cancellation policy and cannot refund the registration fee due to any cancellations.
Photo/Video Release
In order to help spread awareness about Microtia, as well as educate families about our Microtia Meet & Greets and Earicles Microtia Atresia Conferences, we document our events with photographs and video, and typically put together a fun, post-event wrap-up video. This is very important to us and we appreciate your help. Families will be asked to sign a photo/video release during registration. If you have questions about this policy, please email twilke@lewinmd.com prior to registering.

Dr. Sheryl Lewin, Porous Implant Ear Reconstruction Surgeon
Lewin Ear Reconstruction | Torrance, CA
Dr. Lewin is a Craniofacial-trained board-certified Plastic Surgeon. She is one of the leading microtia surgeons in the United States treating children and adults with the Porous Implant Ear Reconstruction (“PIER”) technique (commonly known as Medpor, SuPor). She has spent the last 10 years developing innovative techniques to improve the outcome of PIER. She is the founder of Earicles, Miracles for Ears, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, advocacy, research and surgical care for needy patients with microtia.
Tiffany Wilke, Microtia Patient Liaison
Tiffany is the mother of Manny, a 12 year old boy with bilateral Microtia Atresia that has undergone the ear reconstruction process and wears bilateral hearing processors. Tiffany is Dr. Lewin’s Microtia Patient Liaison and the Earicles Conference Coordinator. We would like to thank Ashley Campeas, Helena Kellam, and Elise Garfinkel for their help in planning our event. Ashley and Helena are also on our Patient Panel!
Michelle O’Rourke, OH-KY Meet & Greet Host Family
Michelle is the mother to a 7 year old Unilateral Microtia Atresia child, Charley, that has undergone the ear reconstruction process.
Michelle works as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the ENT department. The O’Rourke family lives in West Harrison, Indiana.
